Most of us do not really know that singer waje is from Edo state. Waje recently paid a visit to Benin City, Edo State. As part of her brief visit, the singer paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin; Omo N’Oba N’edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa, CFR. Waje sang a happy birthday to the delight the Oba who later presented the Edo-born star with a personally ordered gift-bag. Waje’s also paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Information and Vibes, Rhythm and independent Radio in Benin where she was able to relate with her Edo based fans over the radio.
